Late Season Pow for The Sierra Nevada

Just when Californians thought it was time to dig out the mountain bike/kayak/trad rack/paddleboard from storage, Mother Nature had different plans in mind. According to NBC Bay Area, a winter weather alert has been issued for the High Sierra.

A storm hit the area late last night and has already brought 7 inches to Squaw Valley, which only heightens their claim of being the Spring Skiing Capital. But the fun isn't over just yet: more is on the way for the whole mountain range tonight and into Friday morning.
