Sky Brown Is Pure Style

Skateboarding has always carried a set of unwritten rules, where style and trick selection reign supreme, and it's often not what trick you did, but how and where you did it that sets skaters apart.

15-year-old Sky Brown reminded all of that in her latest video part for her signature colorway for the Nike SB Pogo Plus shoe. Brown opens the part with a blasted and tweaked-out stalefish across the corner pocket of an old swimming pool that's rather easy on the eyes. She sits on a frontside nosegrind around a corner of crusty pool coping and pokes out a frontside grab as she soars alley-oop over San Diego's legendary Washington St. channel gap.

Sky Brown rose to fame as a tween transition skating phenom and became Great Britain’s youngest-ever Olympic medal winner, at the age of 13 years and 28 days when she grabbed a bronze in the women's park skateboarding event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Her all-in style hasn't come without its consequences and lead to a serious accident in 2020, but clearly, Sky is back healthy and skating stronger than ever. She is hoping to land back on the podium this summer in Paris, competing for Great Britain again in the Women's Park event, and is also listed as first alternate for G.B. for women's Olympic surfing.
