This Saturday, the fourth annual Scandinavian Team Battle wrapped up at the summer ski resort CopenHill in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The unique slopestyle contest format featured the top international freeskiers competing in teams of two from each participating country. Each pair was required to ski the course simultaneously, which resulted in highly creative and entertaining runs:
CopenHill is a revolutionary skiing concept. Built in the center of Denmark's capital Copenhagen, the power-plant turned recreation paradise sports some of the best summer skiing in the world. Because there is no snow on the course, jumps, rails, and other features could be moved around the course freely, resulting in one of the most creative and unique contests in skiing.
Jesper Tjäder and Emil Granbom took home the fourth straight win for team Sweden, beating teams from Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Switzerland.
